JevK5
JevK5 is a Jev AI ecosystem project that helps with running an open-weight, self-hosted alternative to TypeSafe Jev with typed probabilities in one forward pass. Apache-2.0 open-weight Jev alternative: noul / choice / score with probabilities, TypeSafe-style /v1/systemone, weights on Hugging Face.
What JevK5 does
JevK5 is an independent open-weight alternative to TypeSafe’s hosted Jev model. You send a state plus yes/no, choice, or score questions and receive option probabilities in one forward pass with zero generated tokens. Weights (Qwen3.5-based LoRA merges, including 4B and 9B lines) run on your GPU; the server speaks a TypeSafe-style /v1/systemone shape so existing clients can often point at a new base URL. Public JevBench v1.4 results placed a v0.2 release second of 76 systems and first among open entrants — useful context for searchers looking up “jevk5 v0.2.0”, though later v0.3 trains expand teacher data and add JevK5-9B. The project documents differences from Jev (open readout protocol, English-only, option caps, serialization on one GPU) and is not affiliated with TypeSafe. Choose JevK5 when you need on-prem typed decisions, open weights, and benchmark transparency more than a managed API.
Where it fits in the Jev stack
- On-prem typed decision APIs with Apache-2.0 weights
- JevBench / Decision Index comparisons against hosted Jev
- Support-ticket routing demos that must stay inside your VPC
